The Venlease map is the list of locations an operator can ask about. Pins are color coded so you can read a route without opening every card. Open and claimed locations use a green pin. Closed locations use a red pin. Unclaimed locations use a neutral pin. After you send interest, that pin turns gold on your map.
Unclaimed means the place is on the map and is not tied to a business account yet. Open means the location can take a machine. Claimed means a business is already tied to that place, and it can still receive interest. Closed means the location is not taking interest. You can send interest to open, unclaimed, and claimed locations. You cannot send interest to a closed one.
Search by address, or pan until you see the area you service. Open a pin to read the location and how many other operators have sent interest. A nearby list shows locations within a distance you pick. If you have saved a home, that distance is measured from home. If you have not, it uses the center of the map. Choosing a row moves the map to that pin and opens the card.
The map is a way to ask. It is not a guarantee that a machine will be accepted, and it does not reserve a location for you until the business accepts your interest. The card also shows how many other operators have already sent interest, so a busy pin is visible before you write the request. Saving a home lets you jump back to that area instead of searching for it again.
