Nearby on Venlease is a distance filter, not a different map. It lists locations within a radius you choose. If you have saved a home location, the distance is measured from that home. If you have not, it uses the center of the map. Open a row and the map moves to that pin.
A vendor can also hear about a location near the home they saved. Save the home, then turn on Nearby placements in Settings. That switch is part of Venlease Plus, and it stays off until you turn it on. Email and push still follow the notification switches in Settings. The message says a location is available, names the place, and gives about how many miles it is from your saved home. Open it to go to the map.
Venlease sends these notes. They are not sent by themselves every time a location is added. The usual send goes to Plus vendors who turned Nearby placements on and who can receive email or a push. A note is not a claim on the location. You still send interest, and the business still decides.
If you service a tight area, set the radius to that drive. A long radius will include stops you would not actually run. The list is there so you can ignore the ones that are too far. Closed locations can still appear inside the radius. They are visible, and they are not taking interest. Open, unclaimed, and claimed locations inside the radius are the ones you can ask about.
