This Privacy Policy explains how Venlease (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Venlease apps and website (the “Service”).
Quick Summary
- We collect only what we need to provide and improve Venlease (e.g., account data, profile details, verification media, device and usage data).
- We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with trusted processors (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment/notifications) under contract, when required by law, or with your consent.
- You can delete your account anytime from your profile settings. Deleted accounts enter a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion (see details below).
- We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data.
Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Account & Profile: name, email, phone (if provided), role (e.g., business or vendor), preferences.
- Identity & Verification: materials you submit for verification (e.g., short face videos, images), and related metadata.
- Content & Communications: messages, application details, descriptions, photos, and other data you upload or create in the Service.
Information collected automatically
- Device & Log Data: IP address, device type, OS, app version, language, crash logs, and diagnostics.
- Usage Data: in-app actions, feature interactions, and performance telemetry.
- Cookies/Local Storage: used for authentication, security, and remembering preferences on the web.
Information from third parties
- Service Providers: analytics, cloud hosting, authentication, and notification platforms may process limited data on our behalf.
- When you connect a service: if you opt in to sign in or link accounts (e.g., Apple/Google), we receive basic profile details required to authenticate.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (including identity verification where enabled).
- Personalize experiences and improve features, performance, and security.
- Communicate with you about updates, support, and service-related notices.
- Monitor for fraud, abuse, and safety incidents; enforce our terms and policies.

Data Retention & Deletion
Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. When you do:
- Your account is placed into a 30-day deactivation period. During this time you cannot sign in, and we schedule your data for permanent deletion.
- If you sign back in (where supported) or contact us during the window, we may restore the account at your request.
- After 30 days, we begin permanent deletion of personal data from active systems. Some logs/backups may persist for a limited time as part of routine security and disaster-recovery, then are overwritten on their normal cycle.
We may retain certain information if necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet security/audit requirements. Where retention is required by law, we will keep only what is necessary and for no longer than required.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Your Rights & Controls
- Access/Correction: view and update certain account information in the app.
- Deletion: delete your account via profile settings; you may also contact us to request deletion or to expedite.
- Consent Preferences: manage notifications and certain permissions (e.g., camera, microphone, photos) via device settings.
- Regional Rights: Depending on your location (e.g., California, EU/UK/EEA), you may have additional rights such as data portability, objection/restriction, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect cross-border transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, technical, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will provide appropriate notice (e.g., in-app notice or email). The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version.
